Front yard

We went to go play outside for a bit today. I was wondering how long it would last since were usually inside pretty fast because one of the kids is hot or scared of the bugs... Today Tay fell on her scooter and Maddy was scared of the big "BOOM" noises. Tay was so cute and thought it was thunder. She was telling Maddy that we couldnt ask God to stop the noise. I didnt want to tell her it wasnt thunder...Military gun training. Not fun trying to go to sleep and waking up to the sounds of gun shots and big bomb sounds! before the scary noises

Wes got the girls these vests awhile back. We unpacked them and Tay has been wearing it everyday. haha

We went to Ruby Tuesdays the other day for lunch and the waitress asked Eric if he wanted a salad with his meal. I laughed inside and then he said "yes please" WHAT!? Who is this man and where is my Eric!? He just got back from a week away training and I think they lost my husband and tried to get away with a look a like! Now it wasnt the healthiest salad, but he was eating one!

We spent most of the 4th priming the walls and getting them ready for painting today, (YAY) but we did make time to go check out what was going on over at the base. It was fun, and I think well probably go back next year, just alittle more prepared...and definitely earlier so were not waiting in line for an hour so the girls can go in the bounce house. The second one we tried to get into closed right before we got in after waiting FOREVER! The girls were not happy!

She loved them, so much that she wanted to touch them! haha

We got Tay all registered for Kindergarten today. I got teary eyed just filling out the paperwork, I cant imagine what her first day is going to be like...

This is the view from the kitchen. We have a deck and stairs down to the "grass". Theres a whole bunch of trees back there for privacy but I think theyre kinda creepy. haha I dont like not being able to see whats back there. One of our neighbors have a nice tall fence back there. Im hoping we can get the owners to agree to put one up too, I think it would def up the value of their house. Right now theres a sad looking "fence" out there, but its not the safest thing to be around.

Notice the fly in the pic? HA! I tried to shoo him away and it didnt work but then I thought it was better this way. You guys could get a better feel of life here in bug city! The girls def need to toughen up! Ill have to get some pics of all the different kinds around here.

I do like our view though...when its daytime. It kinda feels like were in a tree house! :)
