We went camping this weekend at Big Basin Redwoods State park. Its been forever since weve been camping and the first time we went with the girls. We went with another family and the second night another family joined us as well. First night was freezing and noisy...dang racoons!! Second night was alot better, quiet and warmer since we were snuggled up in our own sleeping bags. We went on a hike and saw a mini waterfall. The second night the Campgrounds hosted a "spooky" night trail with a story and skits along the path. Neat idea, but the girls didnt like it so much, it was dark since we only had our flashlights. Taylors favorite part was roasting her own marshmellows. I think Maddys was running like a crazy person on our walk to see the trees.
This was Taylors favorite log. She was walking back and forth on it the whole time!

PWOC
In August I started going to Bible study at the church right down the street. Its been great, Im meeting lots of great Ladies, a few who live on my street...right across the street! Im embarrassed I havent met them sooner though.
I didnt care for the last book we read... http://www.4-womenonly.com/BooksStudies/ForWomenOnly/AbouttheBook/tabid/168/Default.aspx
Eric and I couldnt really relate. (Hes not taking the class with me, but we were supposed to ask our Husbands some questions at the end of the chapters)
We had a 2 week break and class started up again today. New book with a new group of Ladies...
New book...http://www.findinghopeinhim.com/books.html
Im excited, should be interesting. Involves more actually Bible reading which Im interested in.
The church offers free childcare which is amazing! The ladies are great with the kids. Taylor just looves it, shed go everyday if she could. Her class sings songs and does all kinds of crafts. I love hearing her sing and seeing what she has to bring home. I have a hard time getting her to leave.
Maddy is awhole different story. Oh how she HATES Tuesdays! Today was the worst. Turning red, screaming, throwing herself on the ground...not embarrassing at all! :/ Huge seperation anxiety! Im not sure how to handle it....any advice is welcomed!! I try every week and see how shell do. Everytime shell cry at first...somedays shell stop after awhile and some days theyll have to page me because she wont stop. I feel awful for leaving her while shes crying but I think its for the best. She has to learn to be away from me sometimes, I cant always be with her. Right?
Im thinking Ill be making more posts about Tuesdays. Wish us luck...and lots of prayers!!

Weekend Adventure (2 weekends ago)
I was wanting some coffee so we all got dressed and headed out like we were just going to the store. Turns out we start driving just to be out of the house and enjoy the beautiful day. We end up at Roaring Railroads and figured we take the "hour" train ride though the trees. After awhile we take a 10-15 min break to refill the water and walk around abit, take some pics. Maddy starts getting fussy but its ok since we dont have that much longer.... We all board again and start going until we have to stop because theres a fire! We use our water to help put it out. We need more so the firetruck comes up. The helicopter and plane come to check. This is crazy! Great, the fire is out, now we can go..but wait, we used all our water on the fire! So now we have to refills ours again. Done. Now we can go! Nope, not now! On the way up the firetrucks wheel broke so it cant move out of the way. We end up waiting for a rescue train and taking that back down the hill... 2 1/2 hours later. Everyone is hungry and Maddy is not happy at all, she needs everyone within a 5 mile range to know it too! They gave us tickets to go again another day. Theres a coastal ride we can do, lets hope we dont get swallowed by a wave!
*Pictures are backwards. Still trying to figure out how to add pictures in order. Not sure why the other writting is underlined and blue! ...
